Motion
to call meeting to order by and second by at 6:30pm
Motion to accept the minutes by
C Knepper and second by S Hyer
Motion to accept the treasurer’s
report by L Boehlen and second by S Hyer
New
business:
Motion made to accept the proposed By-Laws updates
made by S Hyer and second by H Wickman, all approved
motion passed.
Motion made by L Boehlen and seconded by J
Piepenburg that the board be allowed to vote on recognition dinner with in the
boundaries based on the budget. The motion was amended by M Blohowiak seconded
by H Wickman that the motion be not to exceed 10% of all income with the
understanding that the Neighborhood Association would not purchase alcoholic
beverages. Majority approved motion passed.
Motion made by J Piepenburg and seconded by A Kocha
to allow all sitting board members to continue on the board with their position
if all are willing. All approved motion passed.
Motion made by Jean Riquelme
and seconded by S Boehlen to nominate JC Riquelme to
the board. All approved motion passed.
Open
forum/Announcements:
Swine Flu is a huge issue. Dr Riquelme sees 17 to 22 kids a day at her clinic and she would like to see that we pass the information thru to the schools and to our neighbors about how to contain the spread as much as possible.
The Norbertines have moved
in to 615 St George St and they are having an open house on Oct 30 from 11:30am
to 2:00pm. There will also be a blessing at 12:15pm.
