Gathering Place for a Community

Dine on the Deck Dine on the Deck
The first Dine on the Deck was held on Wednesday, June 2, 2010. Tables for standing or sitting were set up along the deck for patrons to enjoy a lunch along the Fox River. Vendors from China Palace, Fetax Mediterreanean Bistro, Los Banditos, Titletown Brewing, and Thibby's Ice Cream all brought their food to the Deck. This event will be held all summer long on Wednesdays from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Come check it out! Good food, nice price!

  There will be more!
Come back often for more updates on fun activites on this new Green Bay Park

Gently terraced into the Fox River, The CityDeck will be the social center of a quarter mile promenade running from the Walnut Street bridge north to the Main Street bridge along the river’s east bank. As part of a general revitalization planning, public spaces have been proven to attract business and tourism, provide cultural opportunities, encourage safe environments, improve and increase health and increase overall well-being.*
The CityDeck will serve downtown by reacquainting the community to the Fox River and energizing a true renaissance, sparking the local economy, encouraging investment, and drawing a creative workforce to live, work and play at the water’s edge. It will create a space where people of all backgrounds will be inspired to meet and mingle, bringing the community closer together and strengthening the social fabric to make Green Bay a better place to live.
