On Broadway is a Main Street Program founded in the mid 1990’s as a grassroots effort to revitalize the Broadway area from Mather to Mason Street and from the Fox River West to Ashland Avenue. Their dedication has led to the rehabilitation and restoration of many historic buildings in the area, along with bringing millions of dollars into the community.

Adaptive Reuse/Architecturally Significant
Excellent late example of a transitional Greek Revival-Italianate home. Architectural features include two-story-tall paneled corner pilasters, paneled, bracketed frieze band with an entablature above as a cornice, and a balustrade deck surrounding the cupola, which is repeated on the roof of the cupola, designed as a miniature version of the same house. Style: Neogothic Revival
Architecturally Significant
Wonderful example of Neogothic Revival architecture. The historic church was recently restored and remains true to its character both inside and out with stained glass windows, cut stone, and carved wood.
