Location

The Northland Hotel site is situated in the heart of downtown Green Bay; an authentic urban environment with a mix of old and new buildings, an active urban riverfront, major employers, and large civic institutions. There are over 11,000 employees within downtown located within a five minute walk of the Northland.

The property is surrounded by offices, retail, entertainment, dining and housing, and is physically connected to a city-owned parking facility containing over 1,000 parking spaces. The project site is two blocks from the new CityDeck, a $12 million four block boardwalk along the Fox River, which is home to Dine on the Deck, Friday’s on the Fox and numerous other events. The City’s new Children’s Museum and Meyer Theater are also within a few minutes’ walk.  A new $50 million corporate headquarters and R&D center eventually housing over 400 employees will break ground in 2012 directly across the street from the hotel.  In addition, the City is also currently working on a $19 million expansion of its downtown convention center just a few hundred feet north of the hotel site.  Each year the convention center attracts over 250,000 attendees while Greater Downtown Green Bay brings in over 1 million visitors annually with over 100 yearly events.  Legendary Lambeau Field is within a short 8-minute drive from the Northland.
