Online Payment for Permits and Contractor License Renewal
Make Payment Online
The City of Green Bay Inspection Division offers the option to pay for permits and contractor license renewals online.
Permits
Complete the appropriate form and submit the signed permit to the Inspection office by fax 920.448.3117 or email. (The permit must have a signature to be valid.)
Permits are PDF documents and are available for:
Electrical Permits
Heating Permits
Plumbing Permits
Upon review and approval by Inspection office staff, you will be notified of your project number and permit fee. This information is required to make payment online. Upon notification of your payment to Government Payment Services, the permit will be valid.
The following basic information is needed when completing a payment online:
1. Pay Location Code: 6446
2. Applicant name
3. Project street address
4. Project number
5. Amount owed
6. A valid MasterCard, VISA, Discover, or American Express card.
After you enter the Pay Location Code, you will be guided through a series of questions.

License Renewal
New applicants should contact the Inspection Division at 920.448.3300 or email before online payment is made.
The following basic information is needed when completing a payment online:
1. Payment Location Code: 6634
2. License Holder’s Name (first, middle, last)
3. Type of License (BLDG, ELEC, HVAC, SIGN)
4. Contact Name & Phone Number
5. Amount of Renewal
6. A Valid MasterCard, VISA, Discover or American Express Card
After you enter the Payment Location Code, you will be guided through a series of questions.
Upon review and approval by Inspection office staff, your license and receipt will be mailed to you.
