City of Green Bay Reminds Residents of Energy Audit Rebate Program Deadline- There’s Still Time for Savings!
The City of Green Bay’s Home Energy Audit Rebate Program will be ending on June 1, 2012. Thanks to a federal energy grant, the City offers its Home Energy Audit Rebate Program to residents of the City with up to $200 in rebates to help cover the cost of an energy audit. Energy audits cost approximately $350. City residents interested in this program can still apply through the end of May with the understanding that the program will no longer be funded after June 1, 2012.

Green Bay Area Among Those
with Improving Housing Market
The City of Green Bay was recently recognized by the Wall Street Journal for its improving housing market. While 111 metropolitan areas throughout the United States have seen single-family home prices drop significantly from 2010 to 2011, the Green Bay metropolitan area is one of 39 areas seeing housing prices rise.

CityDeck Earns Award and Feature in Magazine
Stoss Landscape Urbanism’s CityDeck took home the Top Honor Award on
Friday 28 October 2011 at the Waterfront Center’s annual conference in New York. An interdisciplinary
jury awarded Stoss’s project in Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA in the 2011 Annual Excellence on the
Waterfront Honor Awards.

Please be advised that garbage containers, garbage bags and recycling bins and carts placed on top of snow banks for collection will not be picked up. They should be placed in the driveway or in a shoveled area. The placement of garbage containers, garbage bags or recycling bins and carts on top of snow banks presents a safety hazard for City employees.
