Life of The River

This effort is a privately funded public art project that includes sculptural commissions. The project is administered by the Green Bay Neighborhood Leadership Council (“GBNLC”) in partnership with the City of Green Bay.

Proposals are being accepted for commission with installation scheduled for the summer of 2011.

The theme of Life of the River is a celebration of the historical nature and natural beauty of the Fox River as it flows through the City of Green Bay. The works shall reflect historical, natural or manmade elements, or the vitality of the Fox River and the inhabitants affected by it.
