The apartments at Mason Manor are available with one and two bedrooms and have carpeting in the living room and bedroom, tile in the bath and kitchen, window treatments, an electric range, frost free refrigerator, ceiling fan, and bathroom with step-in shower. Heat, electricity, water, and basic-standard cable television is included in your rent payment.

The Billiards Room is located on the second floor and is open for residents and their guests daily. The tables are full size pocket billiards tables with a range of pool cue sizes. Smoking is permitted in this room.

Visiting Clergy

Mason Manor invites clergy of various faiths to hold services each week. Services are held in the community room and open to all who wish to attend. There is no fee.

Community Room, a room for gathering, dining, and celebrations...

The Community Room is located on the first floor. The large windows offer a wonderful view of our beautiful grounds. It is the site of the noon meal program and home to many parties and social gatherings which includes bingo, entertainment, movie night, and resident parties. The room is available for residents to reserve for family and social gatherings.

Just outside the Community Room is a patio and gazebo where residents gather to enjoy the beautiful park-like surroundings. A grill is located close by for the outdoor grilling enthusiast, and the walking paths can be used for a leisurely stroll.

In-House Nursing Program, on site for your safety...

Nursing Program

Mason Manor provides a free in-house nursing program. The nurse is available 2 days per month for 3 hours each day. Appointments can be made easily and conveniently. The nurse meets one-on-one with residents on various health concerns or with health related questions.

She also writes a monthly column for the Mason Manor newsletter and holds several clinics throughout the year. Residents enjoy and benefit greatly from this service.

The Laundry Room is located on the first floor and is available to all residents for a nominal fee. In addition to the washers and dryers, there is a folding table, scrub sink, coin changer, vending machines, and sorting carts.

On-Site Staff

 

Mason Manor is owned by the City of Green Bay Housing Authority, and is overseen by a full time manager. This staff person is available 5 days per week and handles the day to day operation of Mason Manor. This person is also involved in any future building improvements or modifications. The staff also includes two maintenance personnel who are involved in all aspects of the building interior and exterior upkeep. Any problems a resident encounters with his/her apartment is directed to the manager who relays the problem to maintenance for quick repair.

Reading/Game Rooms

 

Reading room

The reading/games rooms are located on the 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and 8th floors, and feature a table for games and cards, chairs to relax and read and bookshelves full of a wide variety of choice novels. These rooms are open to residents 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Secure Apartments - making you safe...

Every apartment is equipped with it's own security system. When a guest arrives at the building and rings your apartment, you can check who it is on your own television before letting them in. Only residents and staff allow persons entrance by using our state-of-the-art telephone/entrance system.

Noon Lunch - nutritious, on site...

 

Noon Lunch

This noon meal program is administered by the Aging Resource Center of Brown County.

The cost is on a donation basis and is available Monday though Friday. This service is optional for residents.
