APPROVAL OF AGENDA:
Approval of the agenda of the April 6, 2005, meeting
of the Redevelopment Authority.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Approval of the minutes from the March 24, 2005 and
March 30, 2005, meetings of the Redevelopment Authority.
COMMUNICATIONS:
None.
OLD BUSINESS:
1. Update and report from On Broadway, Inc., of their strategy plans for 2005 and method of repayment of the loan for $50,000 requested at the June 8, 2004 meeting, deferred from the February 8, 2005 meeting.
Recommendation: Report to be presented at meeting.
NEW BUSINESS:
2. Update by Chris Reed, Stoss Landscape Urbanism, on the Waterfront Boardwalk design process.
3. Presentation and possible action on a development proposal for the Admiral Flatley Park property as prepared by Vetter Denk Architects.
Recommendation: To be presented at meeting.
4. Review and approve bids for demolition and authorize the Director to approve future demolition contracts of $10,000 or less per property.
Recommendation: Approve the bids as recommended by staff and
authorize the Director to approve contracts up to $10,000 per property.
5. Request authorization to purchase 520
Schoen Street and 833 South Broadway.
Recommendation: Report to be presented at meeting.
6. Update on Younkers and Tundra Lodge
litigation. The Authority may convene
in closed session pursuant to Sections 19.85(1)(g), Wis. Stats., to confer with
legal council with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become
involved. The Authority may thereafter
reconvene in open session pursuant to Section 19.85(2), Wis. Stats., to report
the results of the closed session and consider the balance of the agenda.
