ORDER OF BUSINESS:
1. Review and action on purchase of 1020 N. Webster Avenue, 1322 Harvey Street, 1483 Morrow Street, 1126 Stuart Street, 1200 S. Broadway, 904 S. Maple Avenue, 900 S. Maple Avenue, and 1092 Shawano Avenue using Neighborhood Enhancement Funds.
The Authority
may convene in closed session pursuant to Section 19.85(1)(e), Wis. Stats., for
purposes of deliberating or negotiating the sale of public properties,
investing of public funds as necessary for competitive or bargaining reasons. The Authority may thereafter reconvene in
open session pursuant to Section 19.85(2), Wis. Stats., to report the results
of the closed session and consider the balance of the agenda.
C.
Renier-Wigg stated there is $600,000.00 of Neighborhood Enhancement Funds from
2008. There have been a number of
properties submitted for these enhancement funds, so staff went through the
listing or properties to determine which were available, which could be
obtained inexpensively, and which ones made sense based on the projects that
are currently being worked on. The
properties listed on today’s agenda are the properties that staff would like to
move forward with at this time.
The
closed session notice was read by T. Weber.
A motion was made by T. Weber and seconded by M. Schueller to convene in
closed session. Motion carried.

motion was made by T. Weber and seconded by M. Schueller to return to open
session. Motion carried.
A
motion was made by M. Schueller and seconded by D. Dallich to authorize staff
to negotiate the purchase of 1020 N. Webster Avenue, 1322 Harvey Street,
1483 Morrow Street, 1126 Stuart Street, 1200 S. Broadway, 904 S. Maple Avenue,
900 S. Maple Avenue, and 1092 Shawano Avenue using Neighborhood Enhancement
Funds, subject to the
amended terms as discussed in the closed session.
