Members Present:  Chairman Paul Linzmeyer, Vice-Chair Nic Sparacio, Lisa Evenson, Josh Beaton, Karen Kohlbeck, Renee Wery, Dan Lindstrom, Kevin Vonck, Gary Sikich, Nick Douglas, Derek Lord, Steve Smet, Amanda Griggs, Scott Matejov, Sue Perz, Amy Kox, Kurt Brenkus

1.  Meeting called to order at 3:00 p.m. by Vice Chair Nic Sparacio.

2.  The attendees introduced themselves.  This was the first time attending for Nick Douglas and Gary Sikich.  Chairman, Paul Linzmeyer arrived.  Kurt Brenkus arrived.

3.  M/S Derek Lord/Lisa Evenson to accept the minutes.  Kevin Vonck noted a correction under item 6 (Review process for sub-committees…).  The fourth paragraph states that “Kevin provided an outline…”  This was actually Kurt Brenkus.  All references from that point forward should be to Kurt rather than Kevin.  Motion carried to accept the minutes as amended.  The group thanks Mary Haupt for her service to the committee and wishes her the best in her new career!  Derek Lord stated that the new contact within the Mayor’s Office for distributing information to the Sustainable Green Bay Committee will be John Kumm.  He can be reached at johnku@ci.green-bay.wi.us.

4.  Paul Linzmeyer explained that work on revising the committee structure has been ongoing for the last six months or so and is nearing completion.  Moving forward, most of the work of the Sustainable Green Bay Committee will take place in the subcommittees, but will be integrated and aligned through the umbrella committee.  Efforts will also be made to recruit additional individuals to become a part of the sub-committees.  Kurt Brenkus facilitated a discussion of developing a charter for the Communication Sub-committee.  A group process was used and all the attendees participated in the discussion.  Customers, problems statements, and goal statements were identified for the sub-committee and recorded in a spreadsheet form provided by Kurt.

Each sub-committee can begin to develop their charter using this process and should make it a goal to do this before the next meeting of Sustainable Green Bay.  Options are to do it on your own, work with Kurt as a facilitator, or work with Paul as a facilitator.  Paul is planning to work with the Transportation Sub-committee.  Kurt will send the spreadsheet form that was used to John Kumm and it will be distributed to the email list.

5.  No other issues were discussed.

6.  Chairman Linzmeyer adjourned the meeting at 4:30.
