Swimming Pools
Lifeguard**
Responsibilities include ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for swimmers, and to enact any lifesaving measures should a situation warrant. Applicants should hold a current certification in Lifeguard Training and CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
Swim Instructor
Responsibilities include creating and implementing swim lesson plans for swim classes as assigned according to Red Cross guidelines in the latest Water Safety Instruction (WSI) methods. Applicants should hold a current Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification.
Facility Attendant
Responsibilities include maintaining and cleaning concession areas, lobby, dressing areas, shower rooms, storerooms, pool deck, counter areas and lavatories and supervise the top of each flume slide (Joannes and Resch Aquatic Centers). Applicants should be at least 15 years of age (16 years old preferred).
Cashier/Concessionaire
Responsibilities include collecting admission/concession fees from patrols using proper transaction procedures. Applicant should have experience and/or ability in handling money transactions and giving change and should be at least 15 years of age (16 years old preferred).
Water Aerobics Program Instructor
Responsibilities include instructing a high-paced, high-energy water aerobics routine.
