Be "Cool at the Pool" this summer if you’re between the ages of 11 and 14, by being a City of Green Bay Junior Lifeguard!Participant responsibilities include morning workouts, leadership scenarios, in-water safety skills, assisting swim instructors during daily swim lessons and helping at theme nights and special events.Participants will have opportunities to be trained in Community Water Safety, CPR, use of a lifeguard rescue tube, spine board and other equipment.Junior Lifeguard Registration is limited; therefore early registration is encouraged before the orientation meeting on Thursday, June 3rd from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at City Hall, Room 604.Scholarship assistance is available for this program.For further information, call the department at 448-3365.
