The City of Green Bay offers a major boat launching facility located at the mouth of the Fox River, west of Bay Beach Amusement Park. Metro Boat Launch offers 10 boat launching lanes and one large holding pier for short-term docking (10 minute). A comfort station with restrooms is located in the Education Building.
The Green Bay Metropolitan Sewerage District operates an Education Center located north of the launching lanes highlighting both the Fox River and the Bay of Green Bay's ecosystems.
Directions:
I-43 to Webster Ave. (Exit 185), north on Webster to Irwin Ave. Turn left on Irwin Ave. (Irwin Ave. will turn in Bay Beach Rd. at the entrance of Bay Beach Amusement Park). Follow Bay Beach Rd. west to Metro Boat Launch
