Program Leader (Parkee)
Responsibilities include instructing, organizing, and planning a specific playground program at one of 37 playground sites, while ensuring the safety of all participants. Applicants should have completed one year of college.
Special Populations Program Coordinator
Responsibilities include instructing, organizing, planning and providing a specific recreation program, adaptive to the needs and challenges of children with special needs ages 6-18 years, while ensuring the safety of all participants. Applicants should should have completed one year of college.
Special Populations Program Attendant
Responsibilities include assisting Special Population Coordinators with instructing, organizing, planning and providing a specific recreation program, adaptive to the needs and challenges of children with special needs ages 6-18 years, while ensuring the safety of all participants.
Softball
Umpire
Responsibilities include umpiring department run leagues by calling balls, strikes or rule violations, actively monitoring the game and ensuring the safety of all participants on the field.
Program Coordinator
Responsibilities include assisting the officials and participants, proper use and storage of equipment, collecting line-ups, organizing teams for play, enforcing departmental and program rules, maintaining control of the game and ensuring the safety of all participants.
Wading Pools
Wading Pool Facility Attendant
Responsibilities include the opening and closing of the facility along with inspecting the pool area, pool maintenance, monitoring chlorine and ph levels, completing state forms, enforcing pool rules and ensuring the safety of all participants.
