Project Porchlight
A Bright Idea for Safe Neighborhoods

Project Porch Light is a citywide campaign encouraging all residents to install ENERGY STAR qualified compact fluorescent lights (CFLs) in their front porch light fixtures and to keep their lights on nightly from dusk to dawn. The project empowers every Green Bay resident to improve lighting and safety in their neighborhoods.

Neighborhood leaders and volunteers will kick off the campaign May 12, 2007 by distributing CFLs to neighborhood areas that need brightening. Wisconsin Public Service is donating 1,000 CFLs toward the project.
