Bulk Items
Bulk waste consists of items too large to fit into a garbage truck or too large for one person to load onto a garbage truck.
Examples of bulk waste include, but are not limited to the following:
Concrete
Building debris – cut to four (4) foot lengths
Roofing material
Logs, stumps – cut to four (4) foot lengths
When this type of waste is prepared by a business in the process of selling its service for a profit, it shall be the business’s responsibility for the disposal of such (not the City). If said bulk waste is not disposed of properly, the City will dispose of it and the owner will be billed. Call 920.448.3535 with questions
Construction, demolition waste, and/or concrete may be collected if the owner did the work and a call was placed for collection. For these projects, three (3) yards will be picked up at no charge. Amounts over three (3) yards may be collected and the property owner billed a charge of $44.40 per yard. Phone 920.448.3535 with questions
Owners may also dispose of their construction debris for a fee at the Brown County Transfer Station located at 3734 West Mason Street, Green Bay, Wisconsin, 54303. For more information and hours please call them at 920.490-2706.
Effective Monday January 31, 2011, special collection will be invoiced as follows:
Residents also have the option to take their waste to the Brown County Transfer Station located at 3734 West Mason Street. Dumping fees will apply.
